WEST DES MOINES, Iowa, June 10 (UPI) -- Jay Haas bogeyed the final two holes Sunday but still managed to win by three strokes at the Principal Charity Classic in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Haas shot a final-round 2-under 69 to finish at 12-under 201 and capture his third win of the season and the ninth of his Champions Tour career -- and collect a first-prize of $240,000.

"It's a thrill holding off some great players," said Haas. "Brad Bryant and R.W. Eaks came on there and David Edwards made a nice couple of birdies coming in."
Eaks (64) tied for second place with Bryant (67) at 9-under 204.
Edwards (70) finished in a tie for fourth with Jay Sigel (67) and Mark James (68) at 8-under 205.
