MLB: Florida 6, Atlanta 4

ATLANTA, June 4 (UPI) -- Aaron Boone drove in a pair of runs Monday as the Florida Marlins posted a 6-4 victory over the Atlanta Braves.

Wes Obermueller (2-3) gave up three runs on eight hits and three walks through five innings to get the win.

Dan Uggla was the only Marlin with a multi-hit night and Miguel Cabrera had a go-ahead sacrifice fly during Florida's four-run fifth inning.

Yunel Escobar, replacing injured Chipper Jones, went 4-for-4, including a double and a long fly ball that skidded off the yellow line atop the right-field wall for his first major league home run.

Brian McCann had three hits for the Braves. Atlanta pitcher Tim Hudson (6-4) gave up six runs on seven hits with three walks in six innings.
