NHL: Ottawa 5, Anaheim 3

OTTAWA, June 2 (UPI) -- Anton Volchenkov had a goal and an assist Saturday night as the Ottawa Senators posted a 5-3 win over Anaheim in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals.

Ottawa, which scored only two goals in the first two games, closed to 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.

Dean McAmmond, Daniel Alfredsson, Chris Neil and Mike Fisher scored, while Chris Kelly added two assists for the Senators, who will try to even the series Monday night when the teams meet for Game 4 in Ottawa.

Ottawa goalie Ray Emery had 19 saves in the victory.

Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry each had a goal and an assist, while Andy McDonald added a goal for the Ducks, who blew three one-goal leads in the game.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 24 stops in the loss.
