MLB: LA Dodgers 9, Chi. Cubs 8

LOS ANGELES, May 26 (UPI) -- Juan Pierre's sacrifice fly drove in the go-ahead run in a four-run eighth Friday night as the Los Angeles Dodgers won a wild 9-8 decision over the Cubs.

The Dodgers owned a four-run lead going into the seventh only to have three relievers surrender seven runs in the inning.

But Chicago could not hold the lead as Los Angeles rallied in the eighth, with Pierre bringing home Brady Clark from third with the deciding tally.

Rudy Seanez (2-0), who finally halted Chicago's comeback in the seventh, gave up a hit in 1 1/3 innings to get the win.

Takashi Saito pitched a perfect ninth to get his 15th save.

Will Ohman (0-2) started the eighth for the Cubs and did not retire a batter to take the loss.

Jeff Kent drove in four runs for the Dodgers.
