STRASBOURG, France, May 25 (UPI) -- Amelie Mauresmo Friday beat Marion Bartoli, 6-3, 6-7 (1-7), 6-3, in the semifinals of the Strasbourg International Tennis Tournament in France.

The top-seeded and former World No. 1 Mauresmo has struggled this season following an appendectomy, but seeks her second title of the year and 25th of her career in Saturday's title match.

"I have to get my act together mentally because I haven't always been concentrating well this week," Mauresmo said after beating her French compatriot. "Things are getting better (but) I'm still a little behind schedule."

In the final, Mauresmo faces Spain's Anabel Medina Garrigues, who won her match against No. 3 seed Jelena Jankovic of Serbia.

Jankovic could not overcome a stomach illness.

Medina Garrigues has a career record of 6-3 in finals, and when she challenges Mauresmo Saturday, the winner will claim $27,000.
