TORONTO, May 19 (UPI) -- D.C. United striker Jaime Moreno scored the game-winning goal on a second-half penalty Saturday kick to lead his team to a 2-1 win over Toronto FC.
Moreno tied Real Salt Lake Coach Jason Kreis with 108 career goals for the all-time high in Major League Soccer history.
Moreno, who is in his 12th season in MLS, has scored all but two of his goals with United. The others were with New York.
Alecko Eskandarian scored his first goal for Toronto against his former team. Eskandarian played the previous four seasons for United, scoring 20 goals and seven assists during that time.
