MLB: N.Y. Mets 10, N.Y. Yankees 7

NEW YORK, May 19 (UPI) -- David Wright hit a pair of two-run homers Saturday afternoon as the New York Mets beat the New York Yankees, 10-7.

Wright had three runs, two hits, and four RBI.

Five players knocked in one run, a run scored on one of three Yankee errors, Chavez had two runs and four hits, and Carlos Delgado also had two hits for the Mets, who will try for a three-game sweep Sunday night.

Winner Tom Glavine (5-1) yielded three earned runs and nine hits in six innings to record his 295th career victory.

Robinson Cano, Jorge Posada, and Alex Rodriguez all hit solo homers, Posada had four hits, Josh Phelps had a run, three hits, and one RBI, while Rodriguez had two runs and two hits for the Yankees, who have dropped three of four.

Loser Darrell Rasner (1-3) gave up two earned runs before leaving when he was struck on the finger on his pitching hand by a Chavez bouncer in the first.
