Gilder leads Hoch at Regions Classic

HOOVER, Ala., May 19 (UPI) -- Bob Gilder shot a 6-under 66 Saturday to move ahead of Scott Hoch after two rounds of the seniors Regions Charity Classic in Alabama.

Gilder is 10-under-par 134 heading into the final round.

The six-time PGA Tour winner is after his 10th victory on the Champions Tour. He had five birdies, a bogey and an eagle at the par-five 16th Saturday.

Hoch, a winner two weeks ago at the FedEx Kinko's Classic, had a 1-under-par 71. He was two shots back at 8-under 136. He's seeking his first back-to-back wins on the Champions Tour.

Hale Irwin, the all-time Champions Tour wins leader, was in third at 137 following a second-round 68.

Zimbabwe's Denis Watson (66) shared fourth place with Fuzzy Zoeller (70) at 138.
