SEATTLE, May 13 (UPI) -- Raul Ibanez and Jose Lopez both had one RBI Sunday as Seattle eased past the New York Yankees 2-1.
A sacrifice fly by Lopez in the bottom of the fourth inning proved to be the game-winning run.
Jose Guillen and Ichiro Suzuki each had a run and two hits, and Richie Sexson also had two hits for the Mariners, who won twice in the three-game series.
Winner Horacio Ramirez (3-2) allowed an earned run and five hits in 6 1/3 innings with one walk and one strikeout. Closer J.J. Putz earned his ninth save.
Derek Jeter knocked in the lone New York run with a single in the top of the sixth.
Johnny Damon had a run and two hits, while Hideki Matsui also had two hits for the Yankees, who have lost three of four.
Loser Andy Pettitte (2-2) yielded two earned runs and nine hits in 7 1/3 innings.
