OAKLAND, Calif., May 13 (UPI) -- Jack Cust hit a two-out, three-run, walk-off homer Sunday as Oakland rallied to beat Cleveland 10-7.
The game-winning blast gave Oakland its third win in its last four games.
Also for the Athletics, Bobby Crosby and Eric Chavez hit solo homers, Milton Bradley drove in three with a two-run homer and a sacrifice fly, and Shannon Stewart had two hits and one RBI.
The winner was reliever Jay Witasick (1-0).
Six players each had one RBI, while Ryan Garko had three hits, and David Dellucci and Trot Nixon both had a pair of hits for the Indians, who have lost four of their last five.
The losing pitcher was closer Joe Borowski (0-2). He could not hold a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the ninth, and blew a save chance for the second time this season.
