NBA: Golden State 125, Utah 105

OAKLAND, Calif., May 11 (UPI) -- Baron Davis ignited a monster second quarter Friday, allowing Golden State to defeat Utah 125-105 and climb back into their second-round series.

With their home crowd at its noisy best, the Warriors showed the kind of fast-break domination they did in shocking the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs. Golden State outscored Utah 40-22 in the second period and coasted throughout the final two quarters.

Utah still leads the series 2-1, but Golden State will have the home-court edge Sunday in Game 4.

The Warriors led by only three after a fast-paced first period, but Davis started the onslaught with a jump shot just 10 seconds into the second quarter and added a three-pointer 40 seconds later.

Davis finished with 31 points and Jason Richardson had 25 for the Warriors, who shot 52 percent from the field and made 15 of 33 three-point efforts.

Carlos Boozer led Utah with 19.
