BROKEN ARROW, Okla., May 4 (UPI) -- Nicole Castrale shot a 4-under 67 on a wet course Friday for a one-shot lead after one round of the SemGroup Championship at Broken Arrow, Okla.
Castrale is seeking her first LPGA Tour victory.
Heavy rains left the Cedar Ridge Country Club course soggy, and tour officials instituted the "lift and clean" rule for the tournament's first round.
Brandie Burton, Angela Stanford and Karin Sjodin shared second place at 68, while Sophie Gustafson and Gloria Park were among those at 2-under 69.
Lorena Ochoa, playing for the second time since grabbing the No. 1 world ranking away from Annika Sorenstam, shot a 70.
Castrale, 28, whose best career finish has been a tie for third last year, played a bogey-free round Friday.
