NHL: New Jersey 3, Ottawa 2 (2 OT)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 28 (UPI) -- Jamie Langenbrunner scored at 1:55 of the second overtime Saturday night as the New Jersey Devils topped the Ottawa Senators, 3-2.

New Jersey had a 2-0 lead after the first period on power-play goals by Brian Gionta and Sergei Brylin.

Ottawa tied the contest, 2-2, on goals by Daniel Alfredsson in the second and Dany Heatley with less than 30 seconds left in regulation.

Martin Brodeur made 43 saves on 45 shots for the Devils, who lost the series opener, 5-4, Thursday night.

Heatley also had an assist, and Ray Emery gave up three goals on 33 shots for the Senators, who go back home for Game 3 Monday night.
