MLB: Cleveland 8, Texas 7 (11)

CLEVELAND, April 26 (UPI) -- Jhonny Peralta hit a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the 11th inning as the Cleveland Indians beat the Texas Rangers 8-7.

Shin-Soo Choo had two hits and two RBI, while Grady Sizemore, Travis Hafner and Casey Blake each drove in a run for Cleveland. Peralta also had two hits for the Indians, who have won four in a row.

The winning pitcher was Fernando Cabrera (1-0) after closer Joe Borowski blew a save for the first time this season.

Ian Kinsler hit a three-run homer, and Sammy Sosa had two hits and three RBI for Texas. Michael Young had three hits and one RBI, including a game-tying RBI double to center off Borowski with two outs in the ninth, for the Rangers, who have lost two in a row.

Texas batters struck out 19 times in the contest.

The losing pitcher was Willie Eyre (1-1).
