KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 21 (UPI) -- Mike Redmond had three hits and three RBI Saturday afternoon as the Minnesota Twins beat the Kansas City Royals, 7-5.

Nick Punto hit a game-tying RBI triple in the top of the seventh, and finished with one run and two hits. Torii Hunter had two runs, two hits and one RBI; Alexi Casilla had two runs and two hits; Justin Morneau had a run and two hits; and Joe Mauer had two hits and two RBI for the Twins, who have won four of five.

The winner was reliever Pat Neshek (2-0).

Joe Nathan earned his sixth save of the season.

Alex Gordon and Mark Teahen hit solo home runs, Ross Gload hit an RBI single, and two Kansas City runs scored on a first-inning fielding error by Luis Rodriguez. Mark Grudzielanek had two runs and two hits for the Royals, who had won their previous two games.

The losing pitcher was Joel Peralta (0-2).
