MIAMI, April 16 (UPI) -- Al Jefferson made a turnaround hook shot with 0.1 seconds left Monday to give the Boston Celtics an 91-89 victory over the Miami Heat.
Delonte West's jumper with 55.2 seconds remaining tied the game at 89-89. Earl Barron's shot was short at the other end for the Heat and the Celtics held for the last possession of the game.
Barron came up with a block of Gerald Green's three-point attempt with 2.6 seconds remaining, but the Celtics got Jefferson the ball down low on the ensuing inbounds pass.
Miami's alley-oop attempt on the last play of the game fell short as Boston ended a seven-game losing streak.
Jefferson had 20 points and 13 rebounds, and West had a game-high 28 points for the Celtics.
