MLB: LA Dodgers 9, San Diego 3

LOS ANGELES, April 15 (UPI) -- Andre Ethier had three hits, including a two-run homer Sunday night, as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat San Diego, 9-3.

Ethier finished with four RBI and two runs scored.

Russell Martin had three hits, two RBI and two runs scored. Wilson Valdez had three hits and one RBI for the Dodgers, who have won four of their last five games.

Winner Randy Wolf (2-1) yielded three earned runs and six hits in six innings, with seven strikeouts and one walk.

Rob Bowen, Jose Cruz Jr. and Mike Cameron all had one RBI for the Padres, who have split their last four games.

Losing pitcher Chris Young (1-1) was charged with five runs -- four earned -- on seven hits in two innings.

The Dodgers joined other home teams Sunday with a pre-game ceremony honoring the late Jackie Robinson, who broke baseball's color barrier on April 15, 1947.
