NBA: Golden State 125, Sacramento 108

SACRAMENTO, April 14 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson had 26 points and eight rebounds Friday night to lead Golden State to a 125-108 victory over Sacramento.

During the up-and-down contest, Golden State led by only 32-30 after one quarter, but increased it to 74-53 at the half.

Sacramento used a 40-26 third quarter advantage to come within 100-93 entering the fourth, but ran out of gas.

Baron Davis had 25 points and four assists; while Jason Richardson and Matt Barnes scored 17 points apiece for the Warriors, who remained in the Western Conference playoff chase.

They are tied with the Clippers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference and moved within one-half game of the seventh place Lakers.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim led Sacramento with 23 points and 14 rebounds.

Kevin Martin had 18 points and four rebounds; and Francisco Garcia scored 16 points for the Kings, who have lost their last two games.
