MIAMI, April 11 (UPI) -- Antoine Walker scored a team-high 19 points Wednesday as the Miami Heat edged the Washington Wizards 85-82.
Alonzo Mourning scored only nine points, but sank the go-ahead basket and blocked a shot in the final seconds for the Heat, who secured the Southeast Division title. Mourning, playing in place of Shaquille O'Neal, also had three rebounds and blocked five shots for the Heat, who have won four of their last six games.
O'Neal was late getting back to Miami after his grandfather's funeral on Tuesday.
The Heat also got 16 points, six rebounds and seven assists from Dwyane Wade.
Brendan Haywood led Washington with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Jarvis Hayes scored 13 points; while Jamison had 11 points and five rebounds for the Wizards, who have lost five games in a row, despite a seven-point lead in the third quarter.
