Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and two assists and Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 42 shots for the Ducks, who finished the season with 110 points -- good for the second seed in the Western Conference.

Jason Chimera had a goal and an assist for the Blue Jackets, and Fredrik Norrena yielded four goals on 19 shots through two periods before he was lifted for Tomas Popperle at the start of the third session.

Columbus was down, 4-1, after two periods but made a game of it -- scoring twice in the third.

Gilbert Brule scored with just over eight minutes left, and then Ron Hainsey fed Chimera for a goal with 7:33 left -- but that was all Columbus had.
