NBA: San Antonio 112, Golden State 99

SAN ANTONIO, April 8 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan had 28 points and 15 rebounds Saturday night to lead San Antonio to a 112-99 win over Golden State.

It was San Antonio's 19th straight homecourt victory over the losers.

San Antonio had a 40-31 lead after the first period, but the contest was tied at 59 at halftime.

San Antonio outscored Golden State, 53-43, in the second half.

Reserve Manu Ginobili had 25 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists; Tony Parker had 18 points and seven assists; and Michael Finley had 15 points, five rebounds, and four assists for the Spurs, who are the third seed third in the Western Conference playoff race.

They were without guard Brent Barry (back spasms), forward Robert Horry (abdomen) and forward Melvin Ely (ankle).

Jason Richardson led Golden State with 23 points and six rebounds. Al Harrington had 22 points and seven rebounds; Baron Davis scored 17 points; while Stephen Jackson added 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists for the Warriors.
