EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 7 (UPI) -- Vince Carter had a triple-double Saturday night with 46 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists, as the New Jersey Nets beat Washington, 120-144, in overtime.
Washington's Antawn Jamison sank a three-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining in regulation, knotting the score at 104 and forcing the extra time.
Jason Kidd added a triple-double with 10 points, 16 rebounds and 18 assists; Richard Jefferson had 27 points and three rebounds; and Mikki Moore scored 17 points for the Nets, who moved within three games of Washington in the race for the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference.
Jamison led Washington with 37 points and 11 rebounds.
Jarvis Hayes had 29 points, three rebounds, and three assists; DeShawn Stevenson had 13 points and seven assists; and Darius Songaila added 12 points and six rebounds for the Wizards, who have a four-game losing streak.
