NHL: Vancouver 4, San Jose 3 (OT)

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 7 (UPI) -- Mattias Ohlund's goal with 34 seconds left in overtime Saturday afternoon gave the Vancouver Canucks a 4-3 win over San Jose and the Northwest Division title.

The game went into overtime after the Sharks' Jonathan Cheechoo tied it with 34 seconds remaining in regulation.

Matt Cooke, Taylor Pyatt and Kevin Bieksa scored in regulation for the Canucks and goalie Roberto Luongo finished with 27 saves.

Joe Thornton had a goal and two assists for the Sharks, whose loss ensured the Anaheim Ducks of winning the Pacific Division title.
