NHL: Vancouver 4, Los Angeles 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 3 (UPI) -- Matt Cooke put Vancouver in front late in the second period Tuesday night and the Canucks went on to defeat Los Angeles, 4-2.

The Canucks would have wrapped up the division crown if Minnesota had lost Tuesday night, but the Wild stayed in the hunt with a victory over Edmonton. One more win by Vancouver or a loss by Minnesota will give the Canucks the division title.
