NBA: Golden State 122, Memphis 117

OAKLAND, Calif., April 1 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson scored a game-high 26 points Sunday afternoon to lead the Golden State Warriors past the Memphis Grizzlies, 122-117.

Memphis held a 97-88 advantage with 10:29 remaining before Golden State closed with a 34-20 run.

The victory, accomplished for the most part without starting point guard Baron Davis, helped the Warriors keep their playoff hopes alive.

Stephen Jackson had 21 points and nine assists, and both Al Harrington and Monta Ellis scored 17 points for the Warriors, who tied Denver and the Los Angeles Clippers for the seventh spot in the Western Conference.

Davis was ejected early in the first quarter after his second technical foul.

Pau Gasol led Memphis with 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Tarence Kinsey had 21 points, eight rebounds and five assists; while Hakim Warrick and Chucky Atkins scored 19 points apiece for the Grizzlies, who have lost six of eight.
