BOSTON, March 28 (UPI) -- Paul Pierce sank two late shots Wednesday night to help the Boston Celtics top the Orlando Magic, in double overtime, 105-96.
The first came first with 7.6 seconds left in regulation and the second with 19.7 seconds remaining in the first overtime.
Overall, Pierce had 32 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Al Jefferson had 23 points and 13 rebounds; Delonte West had 17 points, three rebounds, and three assists; and Kendrick Perkins had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Celtics, who broke a three-game losing streak to Orlando.
They slipped from seventh to eighth in the Eastern Conference playoff race, one-half game behind New Jersey and 1 1/2 games ahead of both Indiana and New York.
