"Last year at the McDonald's, my goal was to come through all the way, and I didn't," Ahn said through a translator. "I don't want to make the same mistake this year, so I've been practicing and practicing to make sure that doesn't happen again this year."

"I made a couple of mistakes that cost me, two bogeys," Ochoa said. "I'm really happy about making birdie on 18, leaving with a positive attitude."

Maria Hjorth, Jee Young Lee, Catriona Matthew and Karrie Webb share third place at 2-under 70.

World No. 1 Annika Sorenstam shot 3-over 75, in her worst start in a major since 2000.
