NBA: LA Clippers 104, Milwaukee 103

MILWAUKEE, March 21 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Clippers narrowly escaped from Milwaukee Wednesday night with a 104-103 win over the Bucks after frittering away a 22-point lead.

Jason Hart came off the bench to score with three seconds to play to preserve the Clips' second consecutive win as they continue to battle for a playoff spot.

Corey Maggette scored 22 points to lead Los Angeles and Elton Brand scored 21. Hart ended the night with 12 points.

Michael Redd had 27 for Milwaukee who lost for the first time since Larry Krystowiak took over as head coach three games ago.

Milwaukee began chipping away at the L.A. lead in the third quarter with a six-point move at the end of the quarter and then took off on a 12-0 run to make it 99-98 with 2:26 to play.

After Milwaukee took a 103-100 lead with 58 seconds to play, Maggette scored a layup and Hart scored from the baseline to put the game away.
