NHL: N.Y.Rangers 2, Pittsburgh 1

NEW YORK, March 19 (UPI) -- Jaromir Jagr scored with just 33.8 seconds left Monday night to give the New York Rangers a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Jagr took the puck into the Pittsburgh end down the right wing and just as he was about to skate behind the net threw the puck out front in an attempt to get it to Michael Nylander. The puck bounced off of the stick of Pittsburgh's Robert Scuderi and went into the Pittsburgh net.
