EDMONTON, Alberta, March 16 (UPI) -- Mark Parrish and Marian Gaborik scored once each Thursday night to give Minnesota a 2-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers, and its sixth straight victory.
Their goals had Minnesota leading, 2-0, before Robert Nilsson scored Edmonton's lone goal at 16:03 of the third period.

Niklas Backstrom stopped 22 of 23 shots for the Wild, who retained their one-point lead over th Vancouver in the Northwest Division.
Dwayne Roloson stopped 25 of 27 shots for the Oilers, who have a nine-game losing streak.
The last time Edmonton lost nine games in a row was in March and April of 1995.
The Oilers longest losing streak is 11 games in October and November of 1993.
