ALAMEDA, Calif., March 9 (UPI) -- Dominic Rhodes, who rushed for 113 yards for Indianapolis in Super Bowl XLI, has agreed to terms to join the Oakland Raiders.
The deal is reported to be worth $7.5 million over two years.
Rhodes started all 16 regular-season games for the Colts last season and, while sharing playing time with Joseph Addai, gained 641 yards and scored five touchdowns. During the Super Bowl, Rhodes piled up 113 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' victory over the Chicago Bears.
Over his six-year career he has 2,274 yards and 19 touchdowns rushing and another 649 yards and a touchdown receiving.
Rhodes is expected to split time next season with Oakland's LaMont Jordan, who is recovering from a knee injury.
