COL BKB: Oregon 93, Washington 85

EUGENE, Ore., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Aaron Brooks scored 32 points Saturday night and No. 24 Oregon pulled away down the stretch to defeat Washington, 93-85.

The Ducks won their second straight after losing three in a row, to reaffirm their position as an almost-certain NCAA Tournament team. At one point this season Oregon was 18-1, but now has a 22-7 mark and is 10-7 in the Pac-10 Conference.

Oregon shot 54 percent from the floor Saturday night and made nine of 19 three-point attempts.

Washington (16-12, 6-10) was led by Ryan Appleby with 21 points.
