WASHINGTON, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Jonathan Wallace scored 17 points Saturday, leading 12th-ranked Georgetown to a 61-53 win over eighth-ranked Pittsburgh in a Big East showdown.
Jeff Green added 14 points and Roy Hibbert scored 12 for the Hoyas (22-5, 12-2 Big East), who have won 11 in a row and moved one game in front of Pittsburgh for the top spot in the conference.

Georgetown hasn't lost since a 74-69 defeat Jan. 13 at Pittsburgh.
The Panthers (24-5, 11-3), who had won seven of their previous eight games, suffered their first road conference loss of the season.
