EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Zach Parise scored the game-winning goal in the third period and Martin Brodeur made 35 saves Tuesday as the New Jersey Devils beat the New York Rangers, 2-1. Brian Rafalski also scored and Scott Gomez added a pair of assists for New Jersey, which has won three of its last four games. The Devils were missing their leading point-scorer, Patrik Elias, and their leading goal-scorer, Brian Gionta. Elias was out with the flu, while Gionta was sidelined by a groin injury. Petr Prucha had the lone goal for New York, which lost for just the second time in its last six games. Henrik Lundqvist made 24 saves for the Rangers.
