COL BKB: Purdue 81, Indiana 68

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Feb. 15 (UPI) -- David Teague scored a game-high 32 points Thursday night to help Purdue upset 19th-ranked Indiana, 81-68.

The Boilermakers expanded a slim 34-32 lead at the break by out-scoring Indiana, 47-36, in the second half. They closed the contest with a 6-2 run after IU came within 71-62 with 5:04 remaining.

Carl Landry had 22 points and 11 rebounds, and Tarrance Crump scored 13 points for Purdue (17-9, 6-6 Big Ten), which broke a five-game losing streak to the Hoosiers.

D.J. White led Indiana with 20 points and eight rebounds. Armon Bassett had 16 points and five rebounds, and Roderick Wilmont scored 15 points for the Hoosiers (17-7, 7-4).

The contest was rescheduled from Wednesday, when this week's snowy weather forced a postponement.
