NHL: Philadelphia 4, St. Louis 3 (OT)

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Simon Gagne's power play just 27 seconds into overtime Saturday night gave the Philadelphia Flyers a 4-3 win against the St. Louis Blues.

Gagne earlier sent the game into overtime with a goal at 15:05 of the third period.

The contest was tied, 2-2, after the second period, and 3-3 after regulation.

Michael Leighton, playing his first game with the Flyers, made 25 saves on 28 shots, as Philadelphia got its second win in its last five games.

Lee Stempniak, Keith Tkachuk and David Backes scored, and Curtis Sanford was beaten four times on 26 shots for the Blues, who have split their last four games.

On the power play, Philadelphia was 2-for-6, and St. Louis was 1-for-5.
