NBA: Denver 102, Indiana 95

DENVER, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points Friday night as the Denver Nuggets beat Indiana, 102-95.

Anthony's scoring output came hours after the NBA announced he would be a reserve for the Western Conference squad at the All-Star Game Feb. 18 in Las Vegas.

Eduardo Najera finished with 18 points and nine rebounds, Linas Kleiza scored 15 and Nene Hilario had 14 points for the Nuggets, who broke a three-game losing streak.

Mike Dunleavy had 23 points and 11 rebounds, and Danny Granger scored 19 points for the Pacers, who have lost three straight.

The Nuggets appeared to have the game in hand entering the fourth quarter with a 73-63 lead, but the Pacers opened the period with an 11-0 run to get within 76-74 with 8:29 remaining. Denver got within two again -- making it 89-87 with 2:20 to go -- but the Nuggets answered with a 9-0 run to put the game away.
