NBA: New Orleans 109, Milwaukee 101 (2OT)

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Tyson Chandler posted a double-double with 11 points and a career-high 22 rebounds to help lead New Orleans/Oklahoma City to a 109-101 double overtime victory over Milwaukee at Ford Center.

Desmond Mason added 23 points for the Hornets, as David West chipped in 21 in addition to a career-high 19 rebounds. Chris Paul added 14 with 10 assists and Devin Brown and Bobby Jackson contributed 12 apiece.

It was the Hornets' second straight overtime win.

Mo Williams led the Bucks with 30 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Ruben Patterson added 28 and 16 boards. Charlie Bell contributed 14 while both Andrew Bogut and Earl Boykins added 10 each.

The Hornets, shooting just 37.1 percent from the field but outrebounding the Bucks 71-49, outscored the Bucks in the second OT 12-4, including a three-pointer by Jackson to give New Orleans a 103-99 edge. Paul sank two free throws and West and Mason added a pair of buckets in the final minute to seal the deal.

The Bucks had a two-point edge in the first OT but a foul allowed West to tie the game at 97 on two free throws.

New Orleans blew a 10-point lead in the second quarter, allowing Milwaukee to close the gap to 35-33 at the 5:19 mark. With 1:23 left, Williams tied the game at 45 and Mason pushed the Hornets to a 51-45 halftime lead.

With less than a minute to go in regulation, Charlie Villanueva sank two free throws to give the Bucks an 88-84 edge but then fouled Paul who made good on his free throws and added a layup with 7.3 seconds remaining, bringing the score to 89-88 and after Boykins made good on one of two from the line, Paul tied up the game with 0.9 seconds left.
