Mickelson, Furyk tied at Pebble Beach

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Phil Mickelson and Jim Furyk are co-leaders after 36 holes of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach, Calif.

Furyk shot 7-under 65 Friday, while Mickelson shot 5-under 67, and both are at 12-under 132, with opposite scores the first two days. The scores were a mirror image of the two players' opening-round scores, when Mickelson shot 65 and Furyk shot 67.

"I probably let a few shots go in the first nine or 10 holes, but I picked up a few the last eight or nine holes that I probably shouldn't have. So it was a good day," Mickelson said.

John Daly (144), Padraig Harrington (146) and Lee Janzen (149) were among those missing the cut.
