NHL:Tampa Bay 3, Los Angeles 2 (SO)

TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Brad Richards scored the winning goal in a shootout Tuesday as the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Los Angeles Kings, 3-2.

Vinny Lecavalier and Blair Jones scored the regulation goals for Tampa Bay, which has won four straight and 11 of its last 13 games.

The Lightning have moved into second place in the Southeast Division. Johan Holmqvist had 29 saves in the win.

Mike Weaver scored the first two goals of his career for the Kings, who have only two wins in their last 13 games. Los Angeles goaltender Sean Burke allowed two goals on 29 shots.
