Massu to meet Horna in Vina del Mar final

VINA DEL MAR, Chile, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Third-seeded Chilean Nicolas Massu and Peruvian Luis Horna advanced Saturday to the finals of the clay-court Movistar Open in Vina del Mar, Chile.

Horna, the No. 5 seed, defeated Argentine Martin Vassallo Arguello, 7-5, 6-4, while Massu -- the hometown favorite -- beat seventh-seeded Spaniard Albert Montanes, 6-1, 6-3.

Horna hasn't dropped a set in the tournament en route to what will be his third career finals appearance.

Massu was runner-up last year after a loss to Argentina's Jose Acasuso in the finals.
