COL BKB: Indiana 76, Michigan 61

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Roderick Wilmont and D.J. White led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points each Saturday afternoon as No. 24 Indiana beat unranked Michigan, 76-61.

Indiana scored the game's first 11 points and had a 13-3 lead before Michigan made its first field goal, with 16:05 left in the first half on a lay-up by Lester Abram.

Lance Stemler and Armon Bassett both scored 11 points; and A.J. Ratliff and Earl Calloway each scored nine points as the Hoosiers (15-5, 5-2 Big Ten) ran their winning streak to five games.

Abram and Dion Harris both scored 12 points to lead the Wolverines (16-6, 4-3). Ron Coleman had 11 points and six rebounds as Michigan lost for the ninth straight time at Bloomington.

The Wolverines -- who have split their last four games -- trailed, 35-26, at the break.
