NBA: Sacramento 114, Milwaukee 106

SACRAMENTO, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Sacramento's Ron Artest scored 36 points and the Kings lead most of the game in handing Milwaukee a 114-106 loss, the fifth consecutive defeat for the Bucks.

An Artest lay up completed an early 18-8 Sacramento run that put the Kings ahead 31-15 in Wednesday's game. Milwaukee closed the gap several times, including getting within 46-45, only to have Sacramento score 12 straight points. The Bucks pulled within 72-69 but the Kings pulled away again.

Artest's 36 points help the Kings beat Milwaukee for the 10th time in 12 meetings. Kenny Thomas and Brad Miller each added 14 points.

Milwaukee's Early Boykins matched Artest's 36-point effort and Ruben Patterson chipped in 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Bucks, who lost fot he 10th time in 11 games.
