The Nuggets extended their winning streak to five games, thanks in large part to a 10-0 run late in the fourth quarter that put some distance between them and the host Sonics.

Seattle took a 106-103 lead with just over three minutes to play on a basket by Chris Wilcox, who scored 25 for Seattle. Steve Blake responded for Denver with a three-pointer that tied the game. Denver then took off with another Blake trey, two free throws by Nene and a layup by Anthony off a blocked shot.

Ray Allen led the Sonics with 44 points, including a pair of three-pointers at the end of the game that made the final score close.
