DALLAS, Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Jere Lehtinen scored Dallas's first and last goals Wednesday night in the Stars' 4-2 victory over the Calgary Flames.
Lehtinen scored just 3:04 into the game and sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the third period. Joel Lundqvist and Stu Barnes scored for Dallas in the interim to support goaltender Marty Turco, who had 18 saves in the win.
After Lehtinen's first goal, Kristian Huselius tied the score for Calgary on a power play. But Lundqvist scored at 6:28 of the second period and Barnes got his goal about two minutes later for a 3-1 Dallas lead.
The Flames' Stephane Yelle made it a one-goal game with 8:18 to play but the Stars held Calgary off until Lehtinen made the score 4-2 with 49 seconds to play.
