The Coyotes trailed early in the third period, 4-1.

Two of Atlanta's goals came from Marian Hossa.

The winning goal was set up by defenseman Zbynek Michalek, who directed a long pass to Perreault as he broke open on the right side of the ice.

Goaltender Johan Hedberg came out of the net in a futile attempt to poke-check the puck away from Perreault.
