COL BKB: Arizona 96, Washington 87

SEATTLE, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Chase Budinger led four Wildcats players with 20 points or more Thursday night as No. 7 Arizona overcame a 14-point deficit to down No. 20 Washington, 96-87.

Washington owned a 45-31 advantage late in the first half, but Arizona closed the opening period on a 17-6 run to get within three at intermission.

The Wildcats (12-1, 3-0 Pac-10 Conference) have won a dozen in a row since a season-opening loss to Virginia.

Budinger scored 23 points while Jawann McClellan had 22, Marcus Williams 22 and Mustafa Shakur 21 for the Wildcats.

Washington (10-4, 0-3) was led by 25 from Quincy Poindexter.
