NEW YORK, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- Indianapolis wide receiver Marvin Harrison, who caught seven touchdown passes in December, is one of three AFC players of the month.

Harrison had 34 receptions for 545 yards in his five December games and scored at least one touchdown in each contest. He finished the season No. 3 in the AFC with 95 catches and No. 2 in the conference with 1,366 yards.

Warren had 43 tackles and four sacks to win the month's defensive player honor with a 10-tackle, two-sack performance against Detroit highlighting the month.

Nugent was 12-for-12 on field goal attempts in December. That includes a 30-yard game-winner against Miami in the regular season's final weekend that helped the Jets qualify for the playoffs.
