NBA: Phoenix 100, Toronto 98

TORONTO, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Steve Nash scored 13 of his 15 points in the fourth quarter Wednesday night, allowing Phoenix to hold off Toronto, 100-98.

Nash added nine assists while Raja Bell had 17 points and Amare Stoudemire 15 for the Suns. Phoenix, which had a 10-point lead to open the fourth period, won its fourth in a row.

Toronto's Chris Bosh, who had missed 12 games with a knee injury, scored 26 points. But the Raptors lost their third straight.

After Toronto fought back into the game in the fourth period, Nash took over and gave the Suns a four-point cushion by hitting a jumper with 11 seconds remaining.
