COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Freshman Greg Oden had 21 points and four blocked shots Tuesday as sixth-ranked Ohio State defeated Indiana, 74-67.
Othello Hunter added 14 points and six rebounds for the Buckeyes (12-2, 1-0 Big Ten), who won for the sixth time in their last seven games.

Joey Shaw scored 16 points off the bench for the Hoosiers (9-4, 0-1), who lost for the first time in five games. Armon Bassett added 13 points.
The Buckeyes were behind, 55-54, in the second half but a 13-5 run put them ahead, 67-60, with 3:11 left.
